Trollinger (think of a 'German Poulsard'), over 40-year-old vines. South-facing parcel on red marl at the Untertürkheimer Mönchsberg.
Handpicked grapes were whole-bunch and 21 days on the skins, one year on full lees in old 225l oak barrels before filling unfiltered by gravity. Juicy, crispy, red current flavour and the best to enjoy it light chilled.
