Riesling from old vines (some older than 60 years) on partly very steep/terraced shell limestone plots along the Neckar river in Ludwigsburg (Hoheneck). All harvested by hand, pressed by basket press, fermented spontaneously and tansferred by gravity into a stainless steel tank. Then matured in wood. Almost two years on the lees, then racked shortly before bottling. Bottled by hand, followed by a few months of bottle ageing. 
White grapefruit flavour and acidity.
