Chasselas, known as Gutedel in Germany, combined with two sibling varieties, Gamaret and Garanoir, both the happy result of a crossing between Gamay Noir and Reichensteiner in the 1970s.
Its tasty like a Tomato-Dashi...fragil and deep at the same time.
