What Bence from Barnag says:
Kékfrankos is the key red variety of our region, valued for its versatility and its clear expression of the Balaton Uplands’ terroir. This wine is made from fruit grown in two markedly different vineyards: the volcanic Hegyestű on the edge of the Káli Basin and the limestone-rich Királydomb in Pécsely. Harvested across three picking dates from early September through late October. Fermented with whole clusters, combining intact and foot-stomped bunches, along with a significant proportion of direct-pressed juice. Aged for two years on the lees in eight small oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added SO2.
