Renard. Riesling. Aoltbeer. This could be enough words for this cross between beer and wine! Our friend Julien Renard is making wine in one of the steepest plots in Germany – Winningen. In 2021, we were harvesting grapes with him for the first time. We were so excited about the Riesling grape, we took home some of it for an Aoltbeer. After three years in the barrels, we can finally taste the outcome! Bottled in June 2024.
