One part of the grapes for this Gutedel is from Karo and Max's own vineyards, the other part is négoce (demeter quality), both organically farmed for over 20 years.

The vines are growing on loess-loam and marl soils. Vinification: 11 months on the less in amphora (50%) and in used barrels (50%).

In the Markgräflerland region, Gutedel is a very popular variety, also called "Frühstückswein" (breakfast wine).
