Important – please read before you order:

Bastian Wolber's wines are highly sought after and available in very limited quantities. To ensure fair distribution, each wine is limited to a maximum of 1 bottle per customer. Additionally, at least 50% of your order (based on the value, not the number of bottles) must include wines from other winemakers. Orders that do not meet this requirement will be canceled.

However, you might want to complete your order as quickly as possible to avoid missing out. Therefore you can place your Wolber order first and write "HOLD" in the comment field at checkout. Once the purchase is complete, you then have three more hours to place a second order for additional wines. Both orders will be combined before shipping. If you use the discount code WOLBERSHIPPING on your second order, you will not be charged twice for shipping.

Gamay planted 1935 and 1972 on Granite in souther Beaujolais.

Hand-harvested. Vinified and aged without added SO2. 100% whole cluster. 2-3-week ambient yeast fermentation and carbonic maceration in steel or wood tank. Minimal extraction by wetting the cap with buckets and 2-3 foot treads near the end of fermentation. Malolactic fermentation in tank.

Aged for 10-18 months in used barrels (228 L and/or 350 L). No fining, no filtration. Less than 10 ppm SO2 added before bottling.
