This is an exciting one for us: The first Weissburgunder we ever made under the GLOW GLOW line. The first time we got to process these grapes with the principle of nothing added, nothing taken away. In the beginning of GLOW GLOW, the white burgundy varieties were still destined for the classical Baumberger line. Now we get to see how these varieties taste like as natural wines. From the fresh must on, this was the favourite tank of Carl and Marcus. It is so expressive of its variety, a real Weissburgunder. It tastes of fresh yellow fruits and has a mouth-watering acidity. A very pure, clear wine that was supposed to be part of a blend of Grauburgunder, Chardonnay and Weissburgunder. But the varieties were so much stronger on their own, that we decided to bottle them separately. So this is the first GLOW GLOW Weissburgunder and it truly shows its origin: Nahe – being elegant and crisp.
