Trollinger (think of a 'German Poulsard'), over 40-year-old vines. South-facing parcel on red marl at the Untertürkheimer Mönchsberg. 
Handpicked grapes were whole-bunch and 21 days on the skins, one year on full lees in old 225l oak barrels before filling unfiltered by gravity. Juicy, crispy, light smoky and full of red current flavour.
the best to enjoy it light chilled and to serve it with spicy food or a "Swabian Vesper" or simply by its own.
