Returning to an earlier idea, we brewed a new batch of Kumpeni, adding the juice and peel of blood and bitter oranges during fermentation. It matured for two and a half years in red wine barrels. One barrel stood apart, revealing a particularly elegant character, and we decided to bottle it as a still version. Expect notes of bitter orange juice and wormwood, with the character of a dry vermouth.
