Ophelia is a bière de coupage. It is a blend of young spelt beer and barrel-aged Aoltbeer. The fresh beer brings lift and tension. The aged beer adds depth and structure. Aromas are delicate and layered. Lime oil, green tea and black pepper appear first. Mineral notes and a gentle funk follow. Medium acidity is balanced by a soft, briochelike malt character. Brewed to be shared.
