Voltor is made from 70% Macabeu and 30% Muscat d'Alexandrie with a maceration of 3 days. Fermented 9 month in steel tanks. The grapes are from 60 years old parcels around the region of Vingrau grown on clays, limestones & schist soil types.
Voltor 2022 has not much in common with 2021 version including a new label. Fine maceration, great depth and aromatic playfulness. For us Voltor 2022 is a highlight and doesn’t need to hide from famous neighbours Matassa and his brutal orange. Well done Jess and Laurent !
