Magneto is a cuvée of 90% Grenache Noir and 10% Macabeo, macerated for five days in whole bunches together in fibre tanks and matured over 8 months in tanks. The grapes are from 40 years old parcels around Tautavel, grown on marl and slate.
With the Macabeo in the mix this is a fruity and vibrant wine at the start. Beautiful nose of black currants, cherries and cranberries. On the palate fresh acidity mixed with good structured tannins. A real joy and something quite special!
