Blue Silvaner is a very rare natural mutation of Silvaner, with only around 40 hectares planted worldwide.
50% of the grapes were pressed directly, while the other 50% spent two weeks on the skins. The colour is pretty spectacular, and the taste even more so.
Blue Silvaner is generally a little riper and rounder than Green Silvaner. Combining directly pressed and skin-fermented grapes gives the Blue Silvaner 2025 a bit more body while keeping plenty of freshness and energy.
