James is a natural sparkling (so-called "ancestral" method) The 2018 is a blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%). The grapes are from biodynamic vineyards in Côtes de Castillon and Côtes de Francs, harvested by hand. Direct pressing on whole bunches. Indigenous yeasts and no added inputs or sulfites. After aging on slats for a minimum of 14 months, the bottles are disgorged allowing long aging on the lees. James is dry, elegant sparkling with champagne like finish and fine bubbles.
