Vin de Soif is a wine to cure your thirst – aka 'gehobener Saufwein'! A high quality but fun wine.
20% Riesling, 10% Silvaner, 10% Kerner, 10% Müller-Thurgau, 10% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Blanc and 35% Johanniter.
The direct press juice of Johanniter and Riesling was put in open vats. Whole bunches of grapes from all other varieties were added to the vats to soak and ferment together for one week. The mixture was then pressed again and aged in stainless steel tanks for six months before bottling.
