Jean-Marc Brignot is an legend in the natural wine world. He mastered the art of vinification like no other. He settled in the Jura after gaining experience in Beaujolais, Champagne and at Pierre Overnoy. 2004 was his first harvest and immediately a bull's eye, everything was done by hand with the least intervention and not a gram of sulphite. These were flawless wines with depth and finesse that only the greatest can dream of. In early 2012, however, he was forced to stop making wine. This is one of his last great wines from the Jura, his Vin Jaune's matured for more than 8 years sous voile in a dark cellar in Arbois. Jean-Marc now manages a natural wine bar in Japan.
100% Savagnin matured 8 years in barrels under the veil.
A jewel of wine, very happy to have a few bottles of this one of a kind masterpiece.
