Riesling M is the next step up from the basic Riesling by Bianka and Daniel. The grapes come from the "Monsheimer Silberberg", the coolest site of the Schmitt winery. The destemmed grapes stay in contact with the juices for 3–4 days, while fermentation starts. The wine then matures in 600 l wooden barrels for 12 months on full lees.

A very nice, balanced and fine riesling with a rather mild acidity. Compared to the basic Riesling, we found riper, warmer fruit notes like red, ripe apples, a touch of honey and some quince, oranges and flowers too.
