The majority of the blend comes from an early harvest of young Blaufränkisch from the cooler Monoszló area, fermented mostly as whole clusters and partly through direct pressing in stainless-steel tanks and oak barrels. This is complemented by riper fruit from the warmer Cabernet vineyard in Aszófő.
