Firri Firri is the hoe used in Pantelleria to make the hole (conca) that protects the young vines from the wind. Firri Firri is also Francesco and Nicoletta's light red, made from a blend typical in Pantelleria: 85% Catarratto (white), 10% Pignatello (red) and 5% Inzolia (white). The vines are around 50 years old, grown together in the same plot on volcanic soil. Grapes are vinified together and macerated for 3 days.
This wine is delicate, fresh and light, but deep, it has a story to tell.
